FOOTLOOSE - Solo Dance

Turn the volume up, close your eyes and let the dance take over your soul,
Because dancers don’t need wings to fly.

We are foolish, whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance, right? So, don’t let any situation take away the opportunity to showcase your talent.

Take out your dancing shoes, sharpen your best moves, polish your skills because the competition will be fierce for the solo dance competition of Passion – FOOTLOOSE.

Rules and Regulations

1. Each participant has to register online on D2C.
2. The participants have to send a video of a minimum 2 minutes performance to imtgpassion.dance@gmail.com. Short-listing will be done based on the same.
3. If the video exceeds the allotted time, it will not be evaluated.
4. The videos can be shared through YouTube/Facebook links or sent as an attachment in the e-mail by 23rd December 2020.
5. There should be no glitch or distortions, and also, participant image must be obvious while recording the video.
6. A list of shortlisted participants will be released by 25th December 2020.
7. The final round will take place on an online platform (NAME OF PLATFORM) / Live Streaming.
8. Participants are required to keep the Bitrate of their videos under 3 Mbps.
9. Participants can choose any dance form for their performance.
10. Use of Props is allowed.
11. Extra recognition for creative props.
12. Visual effects are not allowed.
13. The video should be in MP4 only, to be submitted before the deadline.
14. The preferred video aspect ratio should be 9:16.
15. Vulgarity and obscenity at any point are strictly not allowed. It can lead to immediate disqualification.

This December, we invite you to get over your lockdown blues and get your feet grooving. IMT offers you a platform to showcase your talent and express your emotions through the medium, which reaches all “Dance.”

Time to let out your emotions groove to the “BEAT”!!

Rules and Regulations

1. Each team has to register online either through the website or D2C portal.
2. Team Size- 5-15+1 editor
3. All the performing team members have to be present on the screen together for at least 30 seconds.
4. Inter-college participation is not allowed; however, the editor can be from a different college. (College credentials of an editor to be submitted in the mail at the time of submission).
5. Participants are required to submit their College Credentials during registration.
6. The team has to send a video of 3-6 minutes showcasing the group performance to imtgpassion.dance@gmail.com. Short-listing will be done based on the same.
7. The videos can be shared through YouTube/Facebook links or sent as an attachment in the e-mail by 23rd December 2020. A list of shortlisted teams will be released on 25th December 2020.
8. In case the video is not received within the stipulated time, the registration stands cancelled.
9. Videos of shortlisted groups will be presented on the final day on our live streaming platform. (TBA)
10. The final round will take place over an online platform.
11. Teams are required to keep the Bitrate of their videos under 3 Mbps.
12. Each team will be given 3-6 minutes for the performance. Negative marks for teams if they exceed the time limit.
13. The teams are open to choose the dance form as per their convenience.
14. The usage of props and visual effects is allowed.
15. The addition of special effects in the video is strictly not allowed.
16. The videos should be in MP4 format only.
17. The decision of the judge/judges will be final and binding.
18. Nomenclature for video submission- Team name_college name
